Sunset in the town of Riomaggiore in the Cinque Terre region of Italy brings everyone out to the rocky shore. And this particular night didn't disappoint! You had it all, clouds, rain showers, mountains, red and gold, the Ligurian Sea. And the suspense of waiting to see if the sun would actually be visible at the moment of sunset! Cinque Terre is a string of five centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline in the Liguria region of Italy. In each of the five towns of the region, colorful houses and ancient vineyards cling to steep terraces and fishing boats bob in harbors. The five towns are a hikers tourism paradise. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
