Piazza Garibaldi in Tivoli Italy is a rather large unrelieved expanse of concrete except for The Founding Fathers arch, a modernist sculpture that spans two pools. Piazza Garibaldi is the heart of the historical centre of Tivoli and is dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi who contributed to the Italian unification and the creation of the Kingdom of Italy. The arch was commissioned by the Town Council and is 7 meters high and 14 meters diameter.
