This was the most ethereal scene, a view of the Canadian Rockies in British Columbia Canada from Kicking Horse Pass. In processing this photo, I tried to retain the delicacy of the light and the clouds, the amazing blue of the sky, and how 'thin' the air looked, resisting the temptation to keep processing the image.p The day had started out as a cloudy and foggy summer day on the eastern side of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, but seemingly like magic the sun came out and the sky was blue after passing over Kicking Horse Pass into British Columbia and Yoho National Park on the west side of the mountain range. Not trusting my luck, I stopped as soon as I could to take some photos of the glorious scenery! The Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks of Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho along with three provincial parks comprise a UNESCO World Heritage site.
