Description
The walk to Korakukan Jigokudani, the rustic inn located only about 100 m from the Jigokudani Yaen-Koen (famous Snow Monkey Park) in Nagano Japan prefecture, is about 2 km through the woods. Naturally you don’t want to carry too much, just your camera gear and a small bag of essentials for overnight. The travelers up ahead have just their duffels. There was just a light cover of snow on this walk in, but there was heavy snow during the next two days.
