The Trevi Fountain in Rome Italy is arguably one of the most famous fountains in the world. And inarguably one of the most crowded tourist sites in the world! All the promotional photos show a deserted scene and you can imagine yourself lounging romatically at the pool side, throwing a coin over your shoulder, and dreaming of your return to Rome. The reality is far different and I determined to find a time when the crowds had thinned. Before dawn seemed to be that time!
