Description
The square in front of the cathedral in Valencia Spain is a bustling place. But to the other side of the cathedral is perhaps a more magnificent square, and certainly one that is more tranquil. It is known as the Palace Square, because the Archbishop's palace is located here, linked to the cathedral by a small arch. At the quiet sunrise hour the light was perfect and the sky was beautiful! Although the origins of the Archbishop's Palace date back to the 13th century, it has been remodeled several times in the course of history. What there is today is a Historicist facade in red brick, finding its inspiration in the Sevillian Baroque.
