Description
By now, it's a common fixture in all major cities, a bike-sharing program. BICING is the Barcelona version. The name is derived from bici, the Catalan and Spanish short-form for bicycle, and BCN, (Barcelona's airport code), with the English suffix -ing added. Each individual bike is used between 10 and 15 times a day by different people. More than 95% of rides in the system are shorter than 30 minutes.

It's cool to see how these bikes look in Barcelona. Love the red color. Have you seen the Velib bikes in Paris? They were a great way to get around town. Velib bikes look different than these. l/f
