Description
A favorite place to have an afternoon beer gave me the opportunity to photograph this reflection of the canal homes in Amsterdam. It seemed that we made our way to the same cafe several times during our stay in Amsterdam. I'm sure it wasn't because it was on the edge of the 'red light' district, but because it was a scenic place to have a rest and some refreshment! It was right near one of the locks, so boats were constantly going in and out, and there were swans always swimming about creating opportunities for even more photos. The constant movement of the water created a kind of abstract look at the canal houses. Look closely to see the different shades of each building.
