Description
In Granada Spain, I bought a discount pass that would admit me to five religious landmarks in the city and the more of them I visited, the more I saved over the individual admission prices. Not being one to let a deal go by, I made sure to visit all five. I arrived at the Monasterior de la Cartuja (or the Carthusian Monastery) too early, but being early had a reward! Only the small door was open, allowing this beautiful stream of sunlight to show through. You could also walk around the courtyard some, appreciating the architecture and the beautiful morning weather. While I was trying to get my camera out of my backpack to take this photo, I car pulled up and parked immediately to the right of the door. And there was an ugly green trash bin located immediately on the left. I couldn't move the car but I could move the trash can! And I could clone out the car. Later on when the monastery was open to visit, the larger door was open allowing cars to park in the courtyard. But early on, there was just the view of the courtyard and the steps up to the monastery.

Hi Joan, love the light from the open door, like an invitation to enter.
