Century Tower is a 157' tall carillon tower on the University of Florida campus. It was built in 1953 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the university and to honor students and alumni who died in the World Wars. The current carillon bells were designed by a Dutch company and installed in 1979. It has 61 bells and a range of 5 octaves. Students can take a carillon class and play this carillon. Legend has it that a brick falls from the tower when a virgin graduates from the university. Looks pretty solid still.....
