I passed by this church often in the years that I lived in Fort Worth but I didn't take note of it it until last summer when I was walking around the Texas Christian University campus one morning working on some photos. Then a few months later we attended a nighttime wedding here and it is a truly beautiful structure at night. Every time I go back for a nighttime photo, there is an event going on, but one sunny winter day I passed by and the light and shadows across the portico were just beautiful! This is the Robert Carr Chapel, erected in 1953, through the generosity of Mr and Mrs Robert Carr of San Angelo TX. It is a very popular place for weddings and other special events since its building. It even has its own Facebook page!
