Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

No matter how many times I walked past the Colosseum in Rome, I couldn't resist taking just ONE more photo! But this one was taken early in our Rome visit, close to sunrise. It's a wonderful time for photos with some of the lights still on highlighting the archways of the structure, and also with very few people around. Soon after sunrise however, the crowds begin to arrive and queue up to buy entry tickets knowing that the line will get much longer later in the day! The Colosseum or Coliseum is also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. The Colosseum is situated just east of the Roman Forum. Construction began under the emperor Vespasian in 70 AD, and was completed in 80 AD under his successor and heir Titus. Further modifications were made during the reign ofDomitian (81-96). These three emperors are known as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheatre was named in Latin for its association with their family name (Flavius). The Colosseum could hold, it is estimated, between 50,000 and 80...
