Description
If you aren't sure where on the street in Bratislava this statue is, just look for the big crowd. This is Cumil the peeper, the most popular of the whimsical statues found around Bratislava. Bratislavians and tourists alike love him; tour groups have him on their itinerary .Cumil is either resting after cleaning the sewer or looking up womens' skirts. He's lost his head a couple of times due to inattentive drivers. Maybe by female drivers who didn't appreciate his peeping! The statue resides in the Old Town of Bratislava and was put in place in 1997. His creator is Viktor Hulik, a Slovak sculptor.
