Description
Circa 1978. Taken from the backseat of a small plane on a 'flightseeing' tour. The pilot of the plane had to get the weight and balance right, so I ended up in the backseat. I was all prepared with my camera and lots of rolls of film! The guy who ends up in the primo front seat turns around as we are taxiing out to the runway and asks "Does anyone have any spare film?". hahaha! I'm thinking....Are you kidding? You got the best seat on the tour and you don't even have film?

Incredible shot, and great story! I took a flightseeing tour out of Talkeetna once, but the peak was completely clouded over, unfortunately. Got some great views of some glaciers, but it's cool to see what I missed!
Joan Carroll replied:
thank you Tristan. I hear that the peak is obscured more times than not! I was very lucky!

Glad to see you packed lots of film for this wonderful adventure! Beautiful capture with the lighting and shadows on the mountain.
