I had a few minutes to wait for the group to catch up with me at a split in the trail in the Devils Garden area of Arches National Park near Moab Utah. Not being one to stand around, I decided to go ‘just a little way’ down the other split in the trail. For some reason I thought it just went in a loop and I’d be back at the start in no time. Of course, it didn’t. It just kept going and going and I kept thinking ‘just a little way more’. This was where I eventually turned around, never finding the end of the trail. That’s a good enough reason for me to go back!
