This photo is of a very small portion of the East Side Gallery in Berlin. This is a 1.3 km section of the still-standing Berlin Wall (outdoors of course) that has been taken over by artists as an international memorial for freedom. There are approximately 100 painting by artists from all over the world on the east side of the wall.The paintings document the time of change at the time of the fall of the wall, expressing euphoria and hopes for freedom and a better life for all.
