Description
Five till seven on a January morning in Plaza de Zocodover in Toledo Spain, and most people are not up and about yet! But it was the perfect time to do some 'nighttime' photography! Plaza de Zocodover is the main square of Toledo, and its very heart. It was the ancient Arabian market (zocodover means "place of animals"). It's an ideal place to take a break after visiting the Alcazar or the Cathedral and also a hub for catching the bus or riding a tourist train or just take a seat a watch the life goes by. This square is near the highest point of the old city, in the north-east corner, just a few metres from the Alcazar. This building is the regional government administration building. But a more important landmark is to the right of the archway: the main Santo Tome marzipan shop, my first stop on arriving in Toledo and my last stop to take some treats with me when I leave.

Beautiful photo, perfect lighting and composition and great reflection in the wet pavement. This really sets the perfect mood of the setting . . . L/F/P/T
