Description

Access to Tiritiri Matangi, an island reserve near Auckland New Zealand, is limited. So we felt fortunate to have the opportunity to visit. Once there, we elected to go on a guided walk with one of the local volunteers who spoke knowledgeably and passionately about the conservation efforts on the island, as well as of the many indigenous plants and animals that were either being preserved or reintroduced on the island. This is one of the views along the walk.
