Description
At the Imperial Palace in Kyoto Japan is the traditional Oikeniwa Garden, a landscape garden featuring a large pond and meandering stream with a strolling path around it as well as the very photogenic Keyakibashi Bridge. This was formerly the Emperor’s private garden. Kyoto was the seat of the Emperor for over 1000 years, ending in 1868.
