Description
You barely have to pull off the road on the way to Emerald Lake to enjoy the summer view at Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park (British Columbia, Canada). A pedestrian bridge over the Kicking Horse River allows you to enjoy the upstream and downstream scenic views. Upstream is the Natural Bridge, where the erosive forces of rushing water over what had once been a waterfall is now a natural rock bridge. Downstream is the marvelous view of the river still rushing wildly, surrounded by forest with mountains in the distance. The Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks of Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Yoho along with three provincial parks comprise a UNESCO World Heritage site.
