Description
A stylized look at one of the streets in the town of Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic. Kutna Hora is located in the central Bohemain region of the Czech Republic. From the 13th to 16th centuries, Kutna Hora competed economically, culturally, and polically with Prague due to its wealth from silver mining. However, the richest mine became hopelessly flooded in 1546. Among other factors, this led to the decline in the wealth and influence of Kutna Hora until the mines were totally abandoned at the end of the 18th century. Today the city center of Kutna Hora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
