Description
This is the black and white version of this photo. Early morning light filters through the columns of the Main Building on the University of Texas campus in Austin TX. The building is unimaginatively named Main Building but is probably referred to more ad The Tower. The Tower is a structure at the center of the University of Texas at Austin campus in Austin TX. The tower stands 307 feet tall (94 m) and has 30 floors. Completed in 1937, it is the university's most distinguishing landmark. While the tower is the most well known feature of the campus and the building, the building itself is a beautiful piece of architecture. After having taken some photos of the tower and some exterior architecture, we were relaxing on the front portico with these wonderful arches!
