Dusk in the Cinque Terre town of Manarola brings many out to the rocky cliffs above the town as well as to the rocks in the harbor. As night falls, the colorful buildings on the hillside turn deeper and warmer shades of red and yellow. Cinque Terre is a string of five centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline in the Liguria region of Italy. In each of the five towns of the region, colorful houses and ancient vineyards cling to steep terraces and fishing boats bob in harbors. The five towns are a hikers tourism resort paradise. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cinque Terre isn't undiscovered, but sometimes you can find a bit of calm in the touristic storm! If you look closely in the bottom center, there is a red hammock strung between the rocks where earlier someone was enjoying a lazy afternoon.

Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
