Description
The photo challenge for this day in Myvatn in Northern Iceland was to find photos to take from the limited number of places around the hotel where you were sheltered from the 60-70 mph winds! We checked every balcony and alcove that we could find that provided protection. Everything not tied down was skidding across the landscape caught up in these winds. Most times in photography, you try to find the best angle to shoot your subject. On this day it was reversed: find a spot, plant your tripod, and hope for a good subject/scene to be in front of you!
