Description
This might just be a tourist who got stuck up on the rooftop at Notre Dame Cathedral a century or so ago, surveying the beauty of the Paris, France cityscape. Or maybe it's a chimera, or a grotesque, or a gargoyle. Whatever you want to call it, this one is one of the best known of all the structures atop Notre Dame, a creature looking like a goat. I think it's probably a chimera since it doesn't appear to have any waterspout in it, which is the hallmark of a gargoyle. But if you call it a gargoyle, you won't be misunderstood by most people!
