Description
“When you’re smiling, when you’re smiling, the whole world smiles with you’. I’m sure that’s a smile on the face of this baby bison as he cavorts around the field. A bison calf is often called a ‘red dog’ because of the red-orange color of its fur. A few months after birth, it starts to develop the dark brown fur, horns, and hump typical of the adult bison. Photographed in Yellowstone National Park.
