Description
We spent a few hours walking through the traditional and famous residential area of Bukchon in Seoul, South Korea. In our wanderings, we went up one street and down another and finally came out in a different place from where we entered. This is the view that we saw, providing a striking contrast of the coexistence of the ancient with the modern in fast-growing South Korea. After spending hours amidst the smaller, traditional, closely packed houses and narrow streets, this was almost a shock to emerge once again into the 21st century!
