A 1930's rail station tavern with 24 beers on-tap in a historic, smoke-free, interior. The T & P Tavern was built as a diner and adjoining news stand in the 1930's. It closed in the mid 60's, and except for a brief reopening in the mid 1980's it has been preserved as a time capsule from a bygone era. The diner was part of the historic T and P Railway Station, that now serves as the last Westbound stop on the Trinity Railway Express. Remnants of the Zig Zag Art Deco Architecture can be seen throughout the building. The current T & P Tavern was a dream that was founded by two locals of Fort Worth with the desire to create an establishment that is unique, conveniently located, and where you can get a refreshing drink while taking in the ambiance.
