Description
Like college campuses everywhere, Saturday morning on the campus of the University of North Texas in Denton TX is quiet! This is the perfect time to enjoy the symmetry and design of the fountain on the Library Mall leading up to the Hurley Administration Building. The building was named after Alfred F and Johanna H Hurley. Alfred Hurley was UNT's 12th president and second chancellor. He served as president for 18 years and chancellor for 20 years. The building's name was changed in 2002. After a UNT athletic team victory, special floodlights bathe the Hurley Administration Building's McConnell Tower in a green light to signal a win of the 'Mean Green' to the campus and the community.
