Description
They sure don't make doors like they used to! In our travels we are always on the lookout for interesting doors and windows. We found this one in Prague on Christmas Day. We were just wandering around some of the back streets of the Jewish Quarter. We had seen the 'big' sites of the Jewish Quarter and it was time to just take in the flavor of the district. It was a very quiet day, not too many people out and about. Sometimes when you wander aimlessly, you spend alot of time in places you'd rather not be or in places that are instantly forgettable. But then you hit upon something interesting and it makes the wandering worthwhile. I'm not sure where this door went to, but you know it had been here for a long time and would be standing for a long time after we left it!

Very interesting door, love the textures and can only imagine the history of it.
