Sunset in the Cinque Terre town of Manarola brings many out to the rocky cliffs above the town to enjoy the slow onset of evening. As night falls, the colorful buildings on the hillside turn deeper and warmer shades of red anod yellow. And as the lights come on, the people migrate from the waterfront into the coziness of one of the restaurants. One of the best viewing areas to watch this romantic transition is actually the cemetery up above the town! Cinque Terre is a string of five centuries-old seaside villages on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline in the Liguria region of Italy. In each of the five towns of the region, colorful houses and ancient vineyards cling to steep terraces and fishing boats bob in harbors. The coastline, the five villages, and the surrounding hillsides are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
