Description
I'm not sure we were supposed to be here at Memorial Quadrangle at Yale University (New Haven, Connecticu). Memorial Quadrangle is a residential quadrangle at Yale University occupied by Saybrook College and Branford College, two of the original ten residential colleges at Yale. It was guarded by alot of locked entrances so I assume you had to be a resident to gain access. But someone left a gate open so we walked in to enjoy the gorgeous autumn weather and fabulous architecture. We spent over an hour exploring the quadrangle and courtyards. Every little nook and cranny was beautifully constructed and decorated and it was difficult get enough of it. But when we'd had enough, we couldn't get out, a sure sign we weren't supposed to be there in the first place! It didn't take long for someone to come along to go out and open the gate for us though. Otherwise, we might still be there.
