Description
The mountainous landscape together with the melting glaciers and the large amount of precipitation, are creating ideal conditions for the waterfalls formation in Iceland. After the river Skjálfandafljót cascades over the Godofoss waterfalls it runs further downstream to this smaller but still scenic cascade. Godafoss can be barely seen in the distance just left of center.
