Description
A beautiful rainbow greeting over the wild and turbulent southern ocean. There's a story behind this photo...I was visiting a friend in Australia and not having my own transport I took a bus tour one day along the Great Ocean Road. At one point we stopped to take photos of a koala in a tree and...of course...I slipped on the embankment and fell in the mud. I had mud all over myself and can you believe that NOT ONE PERSON on the bus said a word to me?! Not 'are you ok?' or 'bad luck that'. Nothing! It was like I didn't exist. Then along the way we came across this scene and it was all worth it! I wonder where all those people are today...

Oh glad for that Carol - and I meant to say 'not in our culture 'not' to help someone.... :):) ooops

Mud is considered good luck in Australia Carol! haha Hence the opportunity to witness and capture the rainbow... I've been there many times and for days, the weather is 'iffy' and the sun sets right in your eyes. Brilliantly captured and adore the mood. On a serious note, were the people on the bus mostly Australians? If so shame on them, not our culture to help or ask someone in need. :) :)
