Artist's Description
It’s Texas, which means half the time we are in drought and the other half in flood. After over 15” of rain in the previous month (where the average is about 4”) I figured it was time to have a look at one of our waterfalls when it actually had water cascading over the top! This is Airfield Falls, so named because of its proximity to the Joint Reserve Base. It is a perfect juxtaposition, roaring jets practicing maneuvers overhead with the sounds of the waterfall in between!
