Description
In Fort Worth, TX, college campuses and golf courses are the nicest places for a stroll! This is a panoramic view of the east entrance to the Amon G Carter Stadium (football) on the Texas Christian University Campus in Fort Worth, TX. It is the calm before the storm, shot in late summer just before the students arrive for the fall semester and football season starts in earnest. The stadium was named after Amon G Carter, a prominent Fort Worth businessman, newspaper publisher, and city booster. The stadium recently underwent a $164 million reconstruction project, which began immediately after the 2010 football season and was completed before the beginning of the 2012 season. The stadium was originally build in 1930 and hadn't had a major renovation since 1956.
