May and June of 2014 were busy months for the historic Post Office Building in downtown Fort Worth TX. Long neglected but loved by many loyal patrons, Historic Fort Worth added this building to the city's 'Most Endangered Places' list during National Historic Preservation Month in May. Historic Fort Worth is a local partner of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and recognizes historic properties within the community that are threatened by deterioration, neglect, vandalism, encroaching development or lack of financial resources. The United States Postal Service has made an effort during recent years to decrease its number of properties.
