Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

When you are over 100 years old, there is nothing like a mud bath in the warm sun to sooth your muscles after a long day of foraging and sleeping. On a bucket list of wildlife to see in the Galapagos, the giant tortoise is surely way up toward the top! They are big, up to to 919 lbs. With lifespans in the wild of over 100 years, they are one of the longest-lived vertebrates. Captive Galapagos tortoises can live up to 177 years. The Galápagos tortoises are native to seven of the Galápagos Islands. This one was photographed on the island of Genovesa. Shell size and shape vary between populations. On islands with humid highlands, the tortoises are larger, with domed shells and short necks; on islands with dry lowlands, the tortoises are smaller, with "saddleback" shells and long necks. Overexploitation, destruction of habitat, and introduction of non-native animals to the islands caused a drastic decline in tortoises from about a quarter million in the 1600’s to only about 3000 in the...
