Artist's Description
Near the train station at Kutna Hora, Czech Republic. Kutna Hora is a wonderful place to visit as a day trip from Prague, but it is also a fun place to get to! After you disembark at the main train station in Sedlec, there is a funky little train that meets the main train (there is a 5 min transfer time) and takes you to Kutna Hora. This old building is across the tracks from the small main station in Kutna Hora. Naturally, even waiting for the train becomes a photo opportunity! Kutna Hora is a UNESCO World Heritage site for its historic town core and also for St Barabara's Cathedral. The Italian Treasury is also a wonderful site to visit in Kutna Hora and walking along some of the old streets is a treat. There is an ossuary in Sedlec if you have more time or a car.

About Joan Carroll
Protected with PIXSY About Joan Carroll: I am a Fort Worth Texas-based outdoor photographer who feels at home while on the road...in Texas, in the US, around the world. My photographic goal is to travel the world in a curious yet respectful way, taking the time to see and understand the unique story of each place I visit. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
