Artist's Description
No, this isn't the railway depot in Karlstejn, Czech Republic! But this building was just a short way from the depot and clearly marked the depot or the town in some way. Itwas so interesting to me, I just longed to know the story behind it! It probably isn't as interesting as I hope so maybe it's best I don't know! On our way back to the train station from Karlstejn castle, I saw this building and REALLY wanted to stop for a few minutes for some photos. But....the train was due in a couple of minutes so we hurried along. The time was tight and it was questionable whether we'd make the train. And European trains so often run on time, to the minute. You must have guessed we missed the train! I had 30 minutes to run back and get some photos! It's hardly ever a disappointment to be delayed when I'm on holiday, I can always find something to photograph!

About Joan Carroll
Protected with PIXSY About Joan Carroll: I am a Fort Worth Texas-based outdoor photographer who feels at home while on the road...in Texas, in the US, around the world. My photographic goal is to travel the world in a curious yet respectful way, taking the time to see and understand the unique story of each place I visit. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
