Artist's Description

On my way to a lighthouse in Maine I passed this building and something about it caught my attention. Maybe it was its total anonymity. There was no sign to indicate what the building might be and it looked deserted. Yet there were electrical wires running to the building and the 'lawn', such as it was, was mowed. So...it was conspicuously anonymous! I thought I'd stop on the way back to check it out. Yet on the way back, I looked at it and still passed it by. But it bugged me for a mile afterwards until I turned around and finally went back and stopped. Sure enough, there were only ghostly indications of life. I still wonder what this building is!

In every place, light, mood, color, and...
