Artist's Description
I couldn't resist this scene with the train coming through. Although a thoroughly modern train, the scene had a very 1800s look. (Byers Canyon, CO) My first pass through the canyon, I was just enjoying the beautiful spring day with bright sun and blue skies. As I drove west I saw a train coming along the tracks, so I raced back to try to find a place to include the train in a photo! Luckily I found a turnout that also provided a nice composition.Then I just waited for the train to appear!
