The reviews were wonderful but when I pulled into this motel located near Ellsworth Maine, my first thought was of those old time motor motels sitting in the hot sun in Florida! However, I didn't regret my decision. This is a quiet little place not too far from Acadia National park and alot less expensive than trying to stay in Bar Harbor. They offer a nice continental breakfast, which I missed since I left so early in the morning. And they accommodate pets under 20 lbs. They were also very helpful in giving me directions to someplace to buy an umbrella and also finding a place to eat dinner in Ellsworth. What's not to love?
