Description
Since movie director Quentin Tarantino had dinner at Gonpachi Nishiazabu in Tokyo Japan and got so inspired by the interior of the restaurant that he based the set of one of his famous “Kill Bill” fight scenes on it, Gonpachi Nishiazabu has become a tourist location in Tokyo. It is Less well known as location of former-US President Bush and former-Prime Minister Koizumi’s Izakaya Summit. The interior is very rustic with heavy use of wood and bamboo and full of atmosphere. During a midday meal, the upper level with wooden booths, each with wooden sandals sitting at the edge, was deserted making for an atmospheric photo.
