I kept taking 'just one more' nighttime photo of Notre Dame in Paris but I had FINALLY told myself that I was done. It was time to pack up and get back on the metro to my B&B. As I was walking back across the bridge to the metro, I couldn't help but looking back at Notre Dame. When I saw the couple sitting on the quayside, I just had to try one more shot! I had enough time to get set up and take one series before they moved on. It was such a great scene...the masses of people above but this couple only had to walk down a set of stairs to be alone and removed from the crowds. I chose a painterly interpretation to emphasize the romance.
