Description
As I was hiking in Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, I ran across a flock of tiny birds which I believe are Pine Siskins a member of the finch family. They were flitting along the ground and in the trees next to the trail. It was a challenge to focus on them and get a shot before they moved off! The Pine Siskins are brown and streaky overall with subtle yellow edgings on the wing and tail.

Excellent capture! I had so many in my backyard this winter but now they have moved on...

Excellent shot, beautifully captured! I love how your tight focus (especially on the eye!) and use of depth-of-field has isolated your subject so the viewer's attention is drawn squarely where it should be...nicely done!
