Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

The art of terrazzamenti is seen very dramatically in the vineyards in part of a hike from Corniglia to Manarola in the Cinque Terre area of Italy, where young vines are growing for wine making. Terrazzamenti simply means terracing, although it sounds more poetic in Italian. The walls are built without cement and are truly the work of artisans. Terracing has been used for centuries allowing the steep slopes to be cultivated with vineyards and apple and lemon groves. These dry stone walls also prevent the land from sliding into the sea. They absorb water from heavy rains, while allowing the runoff to flow gently downhill, preventing the land from washing away. The advent of tourism and the lure of higher paying city jobs has caused some to abandon their farms and many of the walls are in disrepair.
