Description
Heading south on Highway US 162 toward Monument Valley Utah (USA) you come across the vista seen in the Forrest Gump movie as the location where Forrest stopped running. If you are headed north, it is 13 miles north of Monument Valley. In the film, after running continuously for years, a shaggy Forrest Gump stops in this very spot. In late autumn, it isn’t difficult to find some time where you can stand in the middle of the road to get this wonderful panorama! But don’t expect to be alone! It is a very popular and breath-taking view dominated by the eroded sandstone structures and dotted with juniper, yucca, and tumbleweed.

Being from France originally and now living in New Jersey, my dream is to see the majestic wild west. When I see this, I just can't take my eyes off it. Isn't this beautiful? Some people would prefer cities, I prefer untouched and sacred nature. I hope, one day, I get to have the privilege to stand in the middle of this road. Thank you for your beautiful art.
