One morning in Lucca Italy I decided to take a very short walk before breakfast. It was the one time I did not have my camera and I saw this beautiful lane with fantastic morning light and shadows. Of course by the time breakfast was over, the light had changed and I’d missed my opportunity. But the next day I was not to be fooled. I had my camera and there was again fantastic morning light with the added bonus of a bike parked up against the wall. To stay out of the way I had to back up against a wall across the intersection….and wait while the early morning pedestrians made their way to school or work…and endure a few stares…check the histograms…..and repeat.
