Description
We are used to looking at skyscrapers from ground level, and there's a certain familiarity about it. But when viewed from eye level, there is an immediacy that can't be ignored! That's the feeling you get when you view the Dallas TX skyline from atop the Reunion Tower. The buildings are RIGHT THERE. The tallest building in the center is the Bank of America Plaza, the building to its left with the pointed top is called Fountain Place, while the building directly to the right and slightly behind it is Renaissance Tower. In the very bottom left is Dealey Plaza, the site of the JFK assassination, while the red building with the turrets and clock tower is the old county courthouse called Old Red. A USA Today contest publicized on 9/10/14 identified Dallas as having the best international skyline! While the skyline looks beautiful by the light of the setting sun, I'm still surprised at that ranking!
